Dodge Journey Search (East) LIVE updates – Day 1

I’ll be updating this page as information becomes available leading up to and during the Dodge Journey (East) search, officially starting at Saturday, 12 noon. You’ll find the latest at the top of this page.

375-mile clue

Solution: Schroon Lake, NY (Adirondack Marathon)

Note: We also see, on the bibs 87 (a reference to I-87 and 74, the road that runs east past Eagle Lake and to the Ti Ferry.

Apparently, this is the final online clue. The “final” clue is essentially the physical sign, already found.

25-mile radius? No.

Also, after the 375-mile clue is solved, we see:

Correction by Dodge on Twitter: When you solve the 5th clue vid it gets you within 375 miles of the Journey, not 25 as was written. More to come. Stay tuned.

Physical Clue, across Ti Ferry in VT

As reported earlier (bejones, 2:24pm), across the Ti Ferry into VT on 74, just before turning south on 73, a sign that reads:

This isnt the end
Its only the beginning
We cant wait to share
Where we went next
the journey is within 350 miles from here

Solution: Friends Lake, Chestertown, NY

425-mile clue

Solution: Lake George, NY (Queen of  American Lakes)

450-mile clue

Solution: Saratoga Springs, NY

500-mile clue

Solution: Albany, NY

Notes: The Dodge Journey is north bound (and the bikes are there, just blurred because of the Journey’s speed)

Could this be a reference to Paradox, NY? Paradox Lake? Conflicting directions as a Paradox? Pair of Docks?

  2. You Guys if I was in the Area I would Def GO TO Journey’s End Farm in 1550 NYS Rt. 9N Ticonderoga, NY 12883 NY!!!!

    Its a Quarter horse farm for God Sakes!!!! and its on a Adirondack Park Preserve!!!

    Its also just off route 9 which they seemed to be following this whole time.

  3. One thing to remember about true slideshows, the slides could be put in backwards making the images reversed.

  28. Is there a clue at the gallery? It is at 51 Vermont 73, Shoreham, VT. As usual, PLENTY of Barns. (EVIL Dodge people?) 1 mile south on 73 from 73/74 junction.

        7 South gives them a lot more room too extend this…

        350 miles from 73/74 has me…

        it’s only 300 from that intersection to NYC….

        at this pace though… it’ll end tomorrow….

        did they post clues and have the live feed over night for the West?

  47. Been in this area all day. Definitely drove 73 to 30, but then turned north onto 30 (passed the church). That was at 1215 or so after first clue. I got lost trying to backtrack to the ferry. I also ended up turning left onto 73 from 74 missing the sign (but I noticed people near the pole – didn’t think anything of it)… Hoping its turning toward my current stakeout.

Nice cool night here in TN, I’m glad I am playing from home, Just had a big fat cheese burger, still got a full tank of gas, watching a little Dish Network, you all got me so tired, Think I’ll take a nap, catch up in the am, all have a safe night, and thank you all for pumping monery into the economy, The USA really thanks you, so this was the Obama plan

  50. If that’s the final picture, it’s downtown Brandon, right side of the road, just before the church tower that’s on the left. Hard to see the highway signs in Street View.

    If that’s where it is, someone should be there shortly.

    • I agree with David. I think I matched the house at approximately 20 Conant Square, Brandon, VT. Go to street view and move up the hill to the right away from the back of the truck.
