Be safe. Be courteous. Buckle up and drive carefully. Remember, there can only be one winner. Enjoy the adventure and make some memories. Cheers and Best of luck!

Physical Clues (in World Wide World)

Final location of the Dodge Journey (East):

16 Donut Point Ln.
Tenants Harbor, ME 04860

Final clue: Kenniston Realty in Rockland, ME

Message from phone call (paraphrased, courtesy of Spencer):

Good job, there will be no more clues.  You are within 15 miles of the Journey.

Main Street Prison Showroom -> Angeliques (Antiques) Thomaston, ME

(courtesy of Tobias)

Message from phone call (paraphrased, courtesy of Spencer):

Nice work. Be careful who share this number with. 99% of the people that are hoping to find the Journey, think they can find it from their easy chair. So, don’t undo all own your hard work.

The lands you will be traveling to will have many beautiful properties where you would like to park your Journey.  Look under the first rock.  One will stand out.  If you see it, give the owner a call.

Solution: Continue traveling north along Rte 1 to Rockland, ME and find Kenniston Realty.

Discussion: “The first (rock)” may be a reference to The First, a bank in Rockland along Rte 1, but before Kenniston Realty. This may have confirmed the direction. As this clue was paraphrased, it may have, in fact, been worded as “Look beyond the first rock.”

Red’s Eats at Wiscasset, ME -> Sign Store on Water Street for a clue in the window:

Message from phone call:

Nice work. First things first. Be careful who share this number with. 99% of the people that are hoping to find the Journey, think they can find it from their easy chair. So, don’t undo all own your hard work.

Blend in with the locals as you head north … check out some woodworking made by hard labor.

Or Better yet. We hear antiquing is huge around here, so why not do some window shopping. There’s one in particular that’s named after the owner whose name also rhymes with what she sells. In the window, you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Solution: Travel further north along RTE 1 to Thomaston, ME and Main Street Prison Showroom, then Angeliques (Antiques)

  1. Did y’all notice how he wiped the ‘reflection area’–not once, twice but not 3 times. LIke it is showing us something!!
As to the bumper–those are windows as you could see ‘night time come’ last night. Someone figure this out–the windows were dimmer this AM and now brighter this PM so which side would those windows be on?? West?

  2. Big Dizzle asked for a riddle solution at 1:32. What do you make of this Steven? It sounds like a clue leading to ANP. As the kids say, that question was kind of random!

  3. The sign shop on Water Street, 3 doors down from Red Eats, is where the sign should be. Can anyone confirm that they are actually around there? Im armchair quarterbacking now after driving homw from New Hampshire with serious road burn. I was convinced they would take the route all the way back to Albany….Im seeing Im wrong…trying to help anyone at this point I just need the agony to end!! Someone has to read that sign

    • Yes, I agree. The clue should be at the Fairfield Sign Shop at 51 Water Street #C, just up from Red’s Eats. Look in the window, under the mat, on the door, on the sign for shop, if they are open today, go in and ask. I believe it will be there.

  4. ok we are about 20 miles north of wiscasset, the reds eats. behind the slowest people in the world. any ideas of chicken farms in the area? any ideas on the “clue sign”? thanks for the support. we owe you guys a drink, or a few! 😉 if you are riding around and see us we’re are the exhausted couple in the really dirty acura with mass plates.

  5. Anyone actually finding that sign near Red’s is most likely keeping it to themselves at this point in the game. I know I would not divulge after this marathon effort if I were there. Too close to the terminus point.

    • Yes, those are horse collars. All the props are consistent with working horses. Yesterday, the guy on the feed also made a big show of cleaning up “manure” behind the vehicle, like it took a dump on the floor. The manure fork is still on the back wall on the right.

      • Buckwheat Blossom Farm (156 Gardiner Rd, Wiscasset 04578) uses their horses to plow. But from the looks of the photos on their blog, it would seem like the collars are too small. There’s a barn in Google maps that might match and shots of their other outbuildings show similar post and beam construction.

  6. Backyard chickens is a website for chicken owners…it really has nothing to do with it, there is backyard chickens for New York too, we belong to it, The sign shop on Water St is the ticket people. you need the next clue,

  7. Did anyone out there actually check the structures that rest directly out on Journey’s End Marina?

    Journey’s End Marina
    (207) 594-4444
    120 Tillson Ave, #1, Rockland, ME 04841

Probably too noise there to be the correct location (with all of the watercraft out on a Sunday) but worth a look if you’re already in the neighborhood.

    • I’ve read that, but I’m not buying it. How many people drove by the Rt 73 & 74 intersection without the ending clue sign being posted? They know we are using Google. And Google can’t control them parking a red Jeep with another real world clue posted nearby. I’ve got my stake on the red Jeep unless another prevailing thought makes more sense.

  8. Its gotta be back toward portland..thats where im sending my driver- it was the last slideshow pic and where the number was given to look around in the real world

  9. I think someone needs to backtrack – go back to monument square at the CALL JOE Time and Temp building. Find due north and get on foot! Find some red seats, go two doors down, look for a sign.

We are missing something here – that sign has to be located. It is crucial!

  10. Hi guys,
I’ve been following this forum for awhile, but this is my first post. My boyfriend is on the ground. He read the the sign in the window of the sign shop a few doors down from Red’s Eats- “Life is a journey, not a destination 1-888-xxx-xxxx”

When we called the number, it said to go north, look for woodworking and windowshop at an antique store that’s owner’s name rhymes with what they sell and in that window “you’ll find what you’re looking for”

There’s a store called Shady Lady, but there’s not much in that window.

    Any help is appreciated 🙂

      • From Red’s, the sign shop is one block north.
The Shady Lady is on the south side of Water St, but he couldn’t find anything meaningful in the window.

      • OK. Here’s the full message (because of the first part and to be fair to your boyfriends progress – I removed the number from your post)

“Nice work. First things first. Be careful who share this number with. 99% of the people that are hoping to find the Journey, think they can find it from their easy chair. So, don’t undo all own your hard work. Blend in with the locals as you head north … check out some woodworking made by hard labor.

I like Shady Lady … but if that’s south on Water Street, it seems like the wrong direction … “blend in with the locals as you head north” is curious … there are a lot of antiques shops, will start to check. Worth mentioning: Dodge said someone was 15 miles away. I believe the only way they could know that is my getting the phone call and this location is within 15 miles (unless there’s another one :()

It may not be near Red’s but further north … that’s a personal call. Switching over to search now.

      • He said there isn’t. Dodge was really serious about taking this search into the “real world.” I’m at HQ in Illinois and this marks the first time in my life Google couldn’t help me o_O

      • Was he traveling up 1, then detoured to Red’s Eats. I been monitoring someone on Twitter who’s moved on to thomaston, me, now to Rockland, me. I know you saw that everyone has turn over wiscasset over looking for that antique store. It could be further along. Or just not to be found in google. I expanded my search several times. There are many … nothing has jumped out … yet 😦

  11. I told Amber (on the other feed) to check out the store windows for advertisements. She said a minute or so ago that you have to window shop in the antique stores (near reds). So Paul, do that……if you can’t be first, at least be second just in case.

  12. Been listening to that message on the phone over and over again and I’m now 100% convinced somewhere along a route north of Portland are are series of Red Jeeps (perhaps a dealership?) and a “few doors down”, well you are pointed to a specific car where they have left a clue.

  13. ok i logged on twitter and it states someone is with in 15 miles and it also says again the call sign and the number is the most important clue so if you were where that call sign was and then listened to the message and looked for red seats and a sign you should be on the right track

  14. i really hope we find the car, obviously, but if not i really hope its found by someone who needs a car, cant afford one, lost one, or needs one for their family… not someone who can afford to buy a new car if they need (even if it infringes on their shopping or chauffeur expenses. good luck everyone and thank you again for all the support and help. we are less than a mile from reds and traffic is at a stand still.
