375-mile clue
Solution: Schroon Lake, NY (Adirondack Marathon)
Note: We also see, on the bibs 87 (a reference to I-87 and 74, the road that runs east past Eagle Lake and to the Ti Ferry.
Apparently, this is the final online clue. The “final” clue is essentially the physical sign, already found.
25-mile radius? No.
Also, after the 375-mile clue is solved, we see:

Correction by Dodge on Twitter: When you solve the 5th clue vid it gets you within 375 miles of the Journey, not 25 as was written. More to come. Stay tuned.
Physical Clue, across Ti Ferry in VT
As reported earlier (bejones, 2:24pm), across the Ti Ferry into VT on 74, just before turning south on 73, a sign that reads:
This isnt the end
Its only the beginning
We cant wait to share
Where we went next
the journey is within 350 miles from here

Solution: Friends Lake, Chestertown, NY
425-mile clue
Solution: Lake George, NY (Queen of American Lakes)

Solution: Saratoga Springs, NY
500-mile clue
Solution: Albany, NY
Other clues:
Wild West Ranch, Lake George NY
Notes: Are the (missing) letters a clue?
Google street view to verify:
Eagle Lake, NY
Intersection – 74 and 73, across from Ferry, heading toward Mt Independence (south)

From the other side, moving away from the ferry, approaching the intersection (note fish on pole):
Advanced clues (9/23, 10:00pm)
Picture #1 – Malta Drive In Theater, Malta, NY

Notes: The Dodge Journey is north bound (and the bikes are there, just blurred because of the Journey’s speed)
Could this be a reference to Paradox, NY? Paradox Lake? Conflicting directions as a Paradox? Pair of Docks?
Confirming shot:

Picture #2 – Ticonderoga Ferry

Confirming shot:
And for direction (VT side, looking towards NY):

We sent 2 pics to various sites. If posted and you can find them, they won’t lead to the car, but they’ll get you started (9/23, 21:12)

if you look in the reflection of the car you can see the door is directly behind it , there are 2 window on the side and someone else is with him in the room because i saw 2 figures moving around.

There is the top of a building – a barn, perhaps? – visible at the end of the first clue. Think that’s the barn it’s in?

I get the feeling that the intersection at the end of the video is in the northern reaches of Vermont or New York…I know the guy was wearing an I ❤ NY shirt, but I've gone through northern Vermont to Canada before and the mountains kind of stop, leaving large grassy plains. That's what the intersection reminds me of. It seems that shot would be looking south-ish.

Final intersection identified at end of video. Across the ferry at 74 and 73. Google street view added to verify.

Where are you seeing clues other than the one of the barn??? Please share.

Hi. They’ve added new video segments to the 500-mile clue. If you’re familiar with the original commercial, you’ll recognize what’s new. Cheers!

Ah I see you’ve already deduced that last shot. Well done.

Steve I do not see the lift pole in your street view on the Dodge pic of same intersection

Has anyone tried enhancing the reflection from the headlight on the live shot?

I’ve watched that carefully. You can see the reflection of the immediate pole and another further back, plus part of the roof. Also, if you watch it closely, you can see people moving around 🙂

My apology, I see the lift pole in the video now.

I saw interesting thought from someone on youtube that the barn was too clean/neat/same wood color, etc. Speculated this was a prop. I find that plausible, but maybe a “display” barn for some type of exhibit.
LikeLike
So does this mean its definitely in vermont?
LikeLike
There are a dozen or so farms off of 73 that would still have the view looking west from the original commercial. My guess, check whichever one doesn’t have a landowner blocking the way 🙂
LikeLike
Possibly in cooperstown at the farmers muesem.
I live just a few minutes from Albany and i 100% recognized the brownstones at the begining. Literally thousands of barns out here but this one looks like its used for shows. I have a couple close by places im gonna check. Im thinking 500 mile round trip. I was at Albany dodge 3 days ago hoping to see a new srt charger and there was a strange looking trailer and fleet in the back corner locked up.

3.6 L VVT
It’s in Vermont.

My guess- it’s been put on an upper floor of a barn. Notice the floor slats, plus most hay is stored in a hay loft on the 2nd floor.
LikeLike
It looks like there’s a reflection from the outside and that could be from the loft door being open. If you walk in a barn, go up to the hay loft!

That barn that it is in for Clue 2 does not look the same as the one in the live shot.

I am trying to find another of the “Wild West Ranch” signs and see what, if any, letters are missing. The missing ones can be a clue.
LikeLike
I looked at that. One one side, you had E, R T, BQ IB … on the other ?W IS, GL G, CASE … ending in IB isn’t a good sign though 😦
LikeLike
They are probably scrambled. Do you know what the sign originally said prior to this? Plus, I bet they are put in some kind of order for a reason, with the spacing the way it is.
LikeLike
If you use just the letters that are there you can get: BBQ and Tire. Future clue references?
LikeLike
The sign normally has complete words on it (see Google Street View). I think that strategically placed letters on the sign (both sides) to hide some clue.

well the 375 mi clue is going to be somewhere around Ticonderoga, either Eagle Lake or Mt. Indy. But that still leaves a 375 mi search area….. they could seriously be making the 100 mi and 75 mi and 25 mi commercials right now and they could all be in West Virginia with a horse theme for all we know! It could be a big screw U from Dodge like yep you thought u nailed it so we moved it 375 mi from the “know final destination”

I still think Coolidge Barn in Plymouth Notch.

Look at the planks on this barn.
Vertical – just like in the live view. Many barns have horizontal planking.
The site might be closed, that would give it low visibility.

Hey Guys, this page was a HUGE help for me on the midwest trip even though it didn’t work out in my favor. Wish I could be out searching myself on this one, but MO to VT is a little out of the way for me.
Anyway, I was thinking, with the engine being a “3.6L VVT”, might that mean it could be in a town or area in Vermont that starts with a V? Sort of like the 283hp lead to highway 283 in OK?

Hi Joshua. It very well could be. Also worth noting: the letters on the Wild West Ranch sign. Cheers!

Including a 32 mile round trip (side trip) from Ticonderoga to Paradox Lake NY (just west of Eagle Lake), that makes it very close to 125 miles from Albany all the way to Mount Independence.
500 – 375 = 125.
They must be releasing more radius clues after #5.
Maybe 10 in total this time?

I was wondering if we are just going to get the 5 clues or if there could be 10 or 15 altogether. I’m trying to read the source code behind the YouTube site to see if that window scrolls. I can see where it invokes google maps and then the companion ad, but this script is complicated, and it turns out I can’t figure it out.
Here’s another paradox: To get people to explore the world wide world, Dodge left three Journeys somewhere out there for you to find. You find one, you can have one. (WWW versus real-world)

anyone have anything to say about the reflection in the hood on the second clue? the barn seems to have some weird ceiling…
LikeLike
Maybe the key to the letters on the sign is finding what it used to say.
On the back side:
Top line: TONIGHT
Middle: Second word is RIDING?
Bottom: HORSE or HORSEBACK
No luck on the front side yet.
LikeLike
Change that. Top line can not be TONIGHT.

I also think it has something to do with horse, and the fron side BBQ Rib?

The reason it’s a 500 mile clue is because in the midwest search, they said that the journey could make it 500 miles on a tank of gas. I wouldn’t read anything more into it than that. They are sightseeing for a day, then headed somewhere. 😀
Did someone find the neighborhood that the beginning shot was taken from?
